Meet Kathryn
Hello there!
Welcome! I'm Kathryn and I'm diving back into the blogging world. I used to blog quite a bit back in college, but life took over and I put it to the side.
Out of college, I became an elementary teacher and have taught mainly primary (3rd, 2nd, Kindergarten, and 1st). My four years in Kindergarten were a blast! Finishing out my 7th year teaching, I'm looking forward to returning to 1st grade in the fall.
My husband and I have been married for 6 years. Which seems insane to me! As we both approach the next decade...hello 30...I think we might have been babies when we got married at 23!
In those 6 years of marriage, we've added to the family...a cat, a dog, oh, and two kiddos! L is 4 and D is 4 months. L is the wild child with a big voice and bouncy red curls. And D...well...so far he seems to more relaxed than L ever was!
Our home is so special to us. It's a place of togetherness, building a future, and making memories. We love a good DIY project to make this suburban house with a little bit more farmhouse flair.
I am a big believer in community and sharing with others, and my home is just that...a place of community and sharing. The saying "it takes a village" took on new meaning for me after the birth of our daughter. I believe we are stronger together than apart. And I believe we should be building bigger tables instead of bigger walls.
